:If the owners dont post, then how would anyone find out? :I was wondering what "head gasket problems" meant. Apart from blowing out I couldnt imagine what other problems one could have.I heard that the cylinder heads were fastened to the block without head stud washers. The surface area of the ARP nuts is so small, I can't fathom why anyone would dare run without them. The cylinder heads would deform, resulting in reduced clamping load and subsequent head gasket failure. The OEM bolts have large washers to distribute the load. I'd bet that anyone running ARP studs without washers will eventually have head gasket problems :Your pal just sold you down the river. If you arent offering these heads by Xmas, there will be pitchforks and torches up and down your street! lol sigh...yeah...good times
